Although it is the newest addition to the bed and breakfast units
at the River Road Ranch Resort, Minna's Haus was built in 1876 and
is the original homestead on the property settled by German
immigrants. Lovingly restored by the Smiths, Minna's Haus is a cozy
two story rock house filled with history. Admiral Chester Nimitz's
aunt babysat for him in this house when he was two-years-old. The
house contains many antiques and period pieces yet also provides all
the conveniences of modern day living. Peace and quiet, access to
the Pedernales River, and life on a ranch filled with free-roaming
animals await you. Let Minna's be your home away from home!
Rates for Minna's Haus are $175 per night for double occupancy with a
two night minimum on weekends and holidays; $30 per night for each addition
person, children welcome, $30 per night per pet (limit 2) and owners
must approve pet before booking is made.
